To qualify for the graduate level competency-based Microcredential in Interprofessional Collaboration students must submit 6 artifacts from interprofessional or interdisciplinary experiences with at least 1 from each category.
FOUNDATION
- Interprofessional Team Seminar (IPTS) Module (up to 4)
- Interprofessional or Interdisciplinary Education in Professional Program Course
- Attendance at Interprofessional or Interdisciplinary Workshop or Conference
IMMERSION
- Interprofessional or Interdisciplinary Simulation Learning Experiences
- Interprofessional or Interdisciplinary Clinical/Practical/Field Experience
- Peer Instructor/Assistant in Interprofessional Education Course
INTEGRATION
- Participation/Dissemination of Research with Authors from Multiple Professions
- Participation in Interprofessional or Interdisciplinary Community Service-Learning Activity
- Participation in Interprofessional or Interdisciplinary Student Event/Competition
Students can also request additional experiences to count toward the microcredential by submitting documentation of the activity through the SLU microcredential site. This request will be evaluated by a review committee and when approved it will be added to the standard options available for the microcredential for all students moving forward.
