Graduation Ceremonies Information

December Law Graduates Reception

5 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2025
Scott Law Center - 12th Floor

Graduates will receive an email to RSVP for the reception. Business attire; no academic regalia.

University Midyear Commencement

9 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 13, 2025
Chaifetz Arena, 1 S. Compton Ave., St. Louis, MO

Family, friends and guests must enter on the main level, at any entrance on the north and east sides of the arena. Doors open at 8:30 a.m. There is no limit to the number of guests who can attend the graduation events. No tickets are required to enter.

May Hooding Ceremony (Precommencement)

TBA (anticipated for 1 p.m., Thursday, May 14, 2026)
Chaifetz Arena, 1 S. Compton Ave., St. Louis, MO

Graduates must enter on the west side of Chaifetz Arena no later than noon. Academic regalia is required. No family or friends are allowed in the student assembly area.

Family, friends and guests must enter on the main level, at any entrance on the north and east sides of the arena. Doors open at 12:30 p.m. There is no limit to the number of guests who can attend the graduation events. No tickets are required to enter.

The hooding ceremony is approximately 1.5 hours long.

Parking

Free parking will be available throughout campus, including the Laclede and Olive/Compton garages. Learn about parking on campus.

Disabled parking is available in either the Olive/Compton or Laclede garage. There is a drop-off area in front of Chaifetz Arena. Wheelchairs are available to take guests to their seats, but guests will not be able to keep the wheelchairs during the ceremony.

Photographs

At the Hooding Ceremony, Sarti Photo Services will photograph each student as he/she is hooded and when shaking hands with the dean. Students will be contacted directly by the photographer via email with picture-ordering information. Note: Graduates and families will not be allowed to take pictures on stage after the ceremony.

University Commencement
