Did You Know?

The 11'th international North American meetings concerning all things boron is taking place in a venue that has strong historical links to boron chemistry. Professor George W. Schaeffer is a former chairman of the Saint Louis University Department of Chemistry. Internationally recognized for his work on boron chemistry, Prof. Schaeffer was a student from the Schlesinger group of the University of Chicago, the source of other historical boron greats such as H.C. Brown and Anton Burg, among others.
